FocusForums' built-in Journals module lets participants log private journal or diary entries -- a great way to manage ethnographic or immersive projects.
Journals can be set up to allow for private or group interaction. Participants can initiate journal entries on a pre-defined schedule or an as-needed basis.

What I appreciate most about Focus Forums is their "No problem" attitude! I have yet to make a request that can not be accommodated. This pertains to patiently helping a newcomer to this technology with the technical aspects of setting up a discussion, to adapting the software to incorporate features that would make the moderator and/or respondents' tasks easier, even for sponsorship of a worthwhile not-for-profit project!
